We’ve been patiently waiting all winter. And finally the goats, cows, sheep, and buffalo have begun producing milk again, which means its time to get our first taste of the delightful cheeses of springtime! And what better to pair alongside than lively, joyful rosé wines? Although they’ve been stigmatized for some time now, rosé wines are often a favorite of the pros. Join us at class this month to jump into the season with our class on both sparkling and dry rosés, and the best springtime cheeses to match.
Classes held at:
Seasonal Pantry // 1314 9th St, NW // Washington, DC 20001
Spend an evening with The Cheese Course at Seasonal Pantry in an intimate class discovering and savoring seasonal, artisanal cheeses. We’ll explore the world of cheese pairing by tasting 3 rosé wines and 6 cheeses along with housemade accompaniments by Seasonal Pantry’s Dan O’Brien. Fromager Carolyn Stromberg will delve into the story behind each cheese, as well as give practical advice about selecting, serving, pairing, and more!
Class is $49 and each is limited to 12 participants.
